What questions are asked at a 341 Meeting of Creditors

Posted by Ellen Brown | Jul 01, 2024

The questions the Trustee asks are the same questions we will discuss at your consultation.  They may include:

1.  State your name

2.  Did you sign the documents filed with the court?

3.  Did you list all of your assets and debts?

4.  Do you owe any alimony or child support?

5.  Have you filed before?

The most important part of the meeting is that you have filed accurate and legally sound documents with the court which is why using an experienced bankruptcy attorney is so important.  The Trustee reviews these documents carefully and will ask questions from these forms at your hearing.
